- Use this slider to specify how long a disk must remain unused before it should be put to sleep.

- If you need to enter a delay that is beyond the slider’s range, option-click on the slider and then type in the value you want.

- You must turn on disk sleep before you can modify its delay setting.

- This menu shows all the SCSI and IDE buses present in your computer.

- Select each bus and then turn on disk sleep for the drives on that bus by clicking the checkboxes to the right.

- You must turn on “Spin down disks when inactive” before it makes sense to use this menu.

- You cannot put this device to sleep.
